This fund is an exclusive collaboration with Danish company Normark Defence to fund innovative products for the defence and intelligence sectors.
Each product developed by Normark Defence is anchored in an independent company with its own strong growth potential.
The fund has invested in six companies and is poised to invest in two more. All products must have significant customer interest before funding.
ABOUT THIS INVESTMENT
High-Tech Defence Fund A/S, an Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), offers investors direct access to high-growth defence and intelligence technology companies. Leveraging its exclusive partnership with Normark Defence, the fund benefits from their deep understanding of procurement practices, industry insights, and strong ties with universities and industry experts.
Normark Defence spins off each product into an independent company, with High-Tech Defence A/S providing growth capital in exchange for ownership stake. Initial investors enjoy preferential treatment in the event of a sale or liquidation.
Currently, the fund has made six investments in the following companies: PulseBarrier, Smart Rock, VanguardAI, LaserRaster, LaserGas, and Hyrdroshield.
Each company is structured for potential resale. Of these, half are expected to be sold early as commercially viable products. Other companies may be retained for up to three years before sale. A small percentage (10-20 per cent) might remain in ownership or be listed publicly.
The fund can invest in any defence-related company, except those in restricted countries or involved in nuclear products, weapons, or ammunition.
